My Story
My journey began in 2007 when I enrolled in Geoecology studies at KIT, Germany.
In my five years of study through field trips across the picturesque Alps and Mediterranean, I delved into the intricacies of our planet's ecosystems while immersing myself in diverse cultures across Western and Central Europe.
Alongside my academic pursuits, I dedicated myself to mastering the Spanish language and honing my skills as a video editor.
It all started in Karlsruhe.
In 2011, an exchange program took me to Simon Bolivar University in Caracas, Venezuela.
During this exchange with a partner university, I had the privilege to meet Prof. Bilbao, an esteemed mentor whose work with indigenous communities in Gran Sabana deeply inspired me.
This experience fueled my passion for documentary filmmaking, leading me to embark on a journey supported by the DAAD Promos Program and the Karlsruher Kreis alumni club, where I conducted field research for my thesis in the heart of Venezuela.
I found my passion for film
in the Venezuelan jungle.
In 2015, my aspirations as a filmmaker took flight
as I interned at the Berlinale Film Festival, worked as a Producer and Director's Assistant at Prounen Film in Berlin and subsequently produced "The Bedechka Case", a passion project that crystallized my commitment to storytelling and nature protection through film.
By the time I graduated,
I already knew what I want to do.

The Bedechka Case - International Version
Bedechka, Monaumour!
By 2020, "The Bedechka Case" premiered, marking a significant milestone in my career as a filmmaker.
In 2021, I spearheaded an outreach campaign for my documentary, involving community screenings, talks, TV appearances, and radio interviews. Additionally, I launched a movie website and a petition advocating for the protection of urban green spaces.
These collective efforts earned recognition at the Bulgarian Biodiversity Awards.
Later that year, joining RT as a Video Producer opened up new avenues for my professional development and creative expression.
In 2022, after 15 years of international exploration, I bid farewell to my base in Berlin, Germany and returned to Bulgaria, my homeland, poised to embark on the next chapter of my journey.
In 2023, alongside a group of active citizens, we spearheaded the NA ZELENO / ON GREEN festival in Stara Zagora. Our goal was to cultivate community bonds around the iconic Bedechka Park, the central focus of my documentary. This vibrant event united local residents, activists, and environmental enthusiasts in a joyous celebration of nature, culture, and community engagement.

Not only movies, I also produced a festival!
What comes next?

As I look ahead, I am excited about
the pre-production of the Black Sea Project and the prospect of sharing my adventures and experiences as a filmmaker while growing my YouTube channel to blend my passions for travel, culture, and nature conservation into captivating narratives.
