"The Bedechka Case" is a self-produced full-length documentary that delves into the controversy surrounding construction in a Bulgarian park, emphasizing the significance of preserving green areas and biodiversity in post-socialist Bulgaria.
Through interviews with various stakeholders, the film offers insights into the historical and cultural background of the urban development project, while also drawing inspiration from best practices observed in Germany and the Panamanian Jungle.

From empowering stories like the sewing workshop for women or a nature conservation camp in Ghana, to innovative projects like biodegradable bioglitter and the original methodology of Fun Mathematics for kids in Bulgaria, I've utilized my expertise to amplify impactful narratives.
Additionally, I've supported community initiatives such as restoring cultural buildings in Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria and capturing expat organization events in Berlin, showcasing my commitment to visual storytelling for positive change.

During my tenure at Prounenfilm in 2017, I served as a Director's Assistant and Line Producer overseeing the production of documentaries for European public TV channels such as ard, ZDF, arte and ORF.
Projects included a biographical film essay celebrating the 80th birthday of renowned British painter David Hockney, a scientific documentary exploring the latest cancer treatment research titled "The Proteom-Code," and a TV documentary titled "Stalin's James Bond" focusing on the Soviet spy Richard Sorge.

During my time at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology from 2010 to 2015, I focused on creating educational and presentational videos for various institutes, honing my skills as a Video Editor.
Highlights of my work include producing a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) titled "Idea Generation Methods" for KIC InnoEnergy, documenting the 2012 Intercultural Seminar "Freude in Freudenstadt" for the Master's program in Regional Science, and crafting video presentations with a story at the Institute for Telecommunication (TECO).
Scientific Background
I obtained my degree in Geoecology from KIT (Karlsruhe Institute of Technology), Germany, where I explored all natural sciences before specializing in Regenerative Energies, Regional Science, Geobotany and Sustainable Development.
Additionally, I enriched my academic journey through experiences such as an exchange program at Universidad Simón Bolívar in Caracas, Venezuela, and completing an elective at the University of Freiburg.

In collaboration with the Institute of Ecology at Universidad Simón Bolívar in Venezuela and the Institute of Regional Science at KIT in Germany, my diploma thesis focused on "Culture Change in Pemón Society".
During my ethnographic research in Venezuela's La Gran Sabana, I spent two months immersed in the Pemon indigenous community. Through recorded in-depth interviews, visual and textual data collection, and ethnographic observations, I explored the dynamics of cultural change within their society, particularly focusing on the loss of traditional knowledge.
